Vlychada Beach (Vlichada Beach) is the closest thing I could get to reach the moon. Yellow carved cliffs standing tall near the “Moon Beach” makes this Greek paradise a breathtaking alternate universe.
The beautiful formations go on and on. It’s as if you’re transported to the surface of the moon or to another planet!
The coast is so long that it seems impossible for this beach to get crowded, making it perfect for relaxing and taking a nap π And if you’re the type who loves listening to the crashing of the waves while you’re getting a tan, this is paradise for you. You can also rent sunbeds and umbrellas here.
Located in Perivolos, it’s easy to get here via car or bus. There are plenty of signs going here.Β
So should you skip it when you’re visiting Santorini? NOPE! The spectacular views here are worthwhile π
I traveled here with my new friend from Ecuador so taking crazy photos was easier ;-P
With or without company, this place is a must-see!
More posts about my travels in Greece, Italy, Spain and France soon π Cheers!
